What is the athleisure trend? The athleisure trend is casual, comfortable clothing designed to be suitable both for exercise and everyday wear, styles which you can wear to run daily errands in, do the school run and can also wear to the gym or for an at home workout. This style is perfect for women who have a thousand things to juggle in the space of a day, and do not always have the time to retreat home to change. 

This trendy trait is something which has taken over the fashion world, especially during the pandemic. Although a casual and comfortable look, we have seen some designers take this form into their hands and created high end fashion with this look, such as creating a wide leg trouser with a stripe down the side for a sports feel, giving the element of smart casual a new meaning. 

When I think of athleisure, I think of leggings, cropped tops, oversized jumpers, and trainers; something which can double up as work out gear, accessorized with a baseball cap and a large handbag for running daily jobs.
