It's an Eclipse Premiere in LA!

by Goddiva Fasion 29 Jun 2010

While we were getting our tans on this weekend in the glorious warm sunshine, LA were being treated to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere... and what a treat it was: in fashion and eye candy!!

Sadly we will not be seeing the main cast at the London premiere as they all have prior commitments... so lets have a closer look at the who-wore-what at the LA Premere

The female cast looked amazing - the general trend was either very long and romantic or very short and edgy... and both styles worked really well. My absolute favourite dress of the night belonged to Bryce Dallas Howard (evil vamp, Victoria) - the style, the colour and what it did for her complextion was amazing!

Bryce Dallas Howard wearing Dior - LOVE this!!

Ashley Green (Alice) looked elegant in a very simple Grecianesque maxi by Alexis Mabille Couture while the rest of the Cullen gang opted for short styles.

Nikki Reed (Rosalie) wore a lovely sky blue Marchesa dress covered in feathers and an embroidered bodice - lovely but at a quick glance, reminds me of Dancing on Ice??

Anna Kendrick (Jessica Stanley) also wore Marchesa but in the form of a gold pleated fan dress - it looked lovely on her.

Elizabeth Reaser (Esme) wore a very vampy Zuhair Murad number and to be honest I am not too fond of Kristen Stewart's (Bella) dress. The one shoulder dress in white by Eli Saab for me was a bit too bland for her.I think Kristen looks her best in darker colours and edgier styles. It didn't look like she chose the dress, like it was just not her style. But she still looked lovely

Dakota Fanning (Volturi Vamp, Jane) also wore Eli Saab, but this look suited her and wore her well

The male cast looked just as good!   Although it was your standard suit – they all made it their own

Jackson Rathbone (Jasper)

Kellan Lutz (Emmet)

And, suprisingly, my look of the week this week goes to Robert Pattinson - not just because he is Robert Pattinson, but look at this suit by Gucci!! The colour, the cut, the skinny tie and the swagger... super stylish and edgy in a way that seperates him from his other co-stars. Everything just works really well! Well done to the stylist - it's a great, classic look that takes me back to the old-school movie star look

Well now that we have all suffered a total ECLIPSE of the heart... ( get it?? haha) hopefully we can forgive them all for not being around at the London premiere!! We have just over a week until we can get to see the 3rd installment of the saga - I cannot wait... The histories of the characters, the fight scenes, it's all coming together!! General release is 9 July 2010.

That's it for me this week!

Jx

P.s. My track of the week is the appropriately named "Death" by The White Lies... enjoy!!
