Todays blog entry sees us take a look at two of the hottest hem lengths du jour: The side split maxi and the dip hem. The ‘dip hem’ or ‘tail hem’ (as they are also called) fill the difficult void between mini and midi, as they cover, yet at the same time expose - genius! Plus they’re also a simple way to liven up up your summer wardrobe as they are perfect for beach holidays and festivals alike! The SS ’11 runways were awash with some lovely dip hem dresses, and the trend has also been championed by some of our favourite celebs such as Mollie King (David Gandy’s new beau don’t you know) who has been spotted in a dipped hem delight on more than one occasion…

 

Another hemline also making a splash on the runways as well as the red carpet this year is the side split maxi. Providing just the right amount of va va voom, whilst combining the demure maxi length the side split maxi shoes no signs of disappearing anytime soon and has been seen on countless runways as well as the majority of recent red carpet events this year.
