Model, influencer and plus size trailblazer Danielle Gardiner. As winner of @mscurvaceoousuk 2016/17 she campaigns for body confidence and we love that here at Goddiva, making her our first curve model to take over the Goddiva blog. Here she tells us what its like to model on behalf of real women and live her best life on Instagram with some help of her sassy style and love of all things Goddiva Plus …   What inspired you into becoming an influencer? And what is the most rewarding thing about being an Influencer? I’ve never aimed to be a curve influencer, at first I was just enjoying modeling here and there and building my confidence, but as I posted more images; increasingly the people I had contact with about my outfits, confidence etc. meant more brands became interested in me and sending me outfits to share to my followers.   The most rewarding, thing aside from all the amazing goodies, is the fact I inspire other people to push themselves outside of their comfort zone, wear something they wouldn’t have before and to do something they were scared to do before hand therefore pushing boundaries. I love all the positive messages I get.     How would you describe your style?   My style is very random, sometimes it’s casual, urban and chilled, the next it’s glam and heels! I like to wear dresses and clothing I like really; I have no set style or rules. If I see something I like and think it’ll look good then I’ll wear it. I did used to be quite boring with certain colours and stay safe by wearing black, but I’m becoming more adventurous experimenting with brighter colours and patterns.   Goddiva plus pleated glitter midi with long sleeved red dress, £75 Danielle keeps things simple with minimal jewellery   Which celebrity would you compare your style to?   I get a lot of style inspiration from Leslie Sidora (plus size model), because when she does casual she looks amazing and then she switches it up to glam effortlessly. So I’d say my style is like hers. I like the tight dresses or skirts that show off my curves for when I want to be glam and then the cargo trousers, vests, tracksuits, jeans for when I’m working a more casual look.   Danielle wears the Goddiva Plus deep v sequin maxi in black, £95 also available in champagne; looks fantastic with chandelier drop earrings   What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Goddiva?   Amazing dresses! I’ve always seen collections of such stunning dresses with the most beautiful designs and detail. Goddiva is definitely a stand out brand.   What occasions would you pick a Goddiva dress for?   Definitely a red-carpet event or ball, certainly more an evening dress and occasion dress go to! The dresses are showstoppers and not meant for everyday wear.
