The technical steps required for creating the contract between yourself and Goddiva are as follows: You place the order for your products on the website by pressing the "Submit Order" button at the end of the checkout process.
You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the website. We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered and likely dispatch date. Please check the details of your order and notify Goddiva immediately if there are any problems.
As your product is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a dispatch confirmation email. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our conditions set out below. If you have not received a confirmation email your order has not been accepted by Goddiva. Non acceptance of an order may take place in the following circumstances:
Goddiva reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions of the Gift Vouchers at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the voucher if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights.
Payment by Gift Vouchers - Gift Vouchers may be used to purchase goods of a higher price than the amount on the gift card, on payment of the difference. Gift Vouchers must be used subject to website terms and conditions.
Gift Voucher Restrictions - Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift Vouchers can only be refunded in accordance with your legal rights. A refund can only be processed if the voucher has not been applied to a sales order.
Items purchased with a Gift Vouchers cannot be returned for a refund, exchange only.
Gift Voucher Validity - Gift Vouchers are valid for a limited time and the voucher must be used by the date shown on the voucher - Normally 30 days. We are afraid we can't accept any responsibility for deleted gift vouchers from your E-mail. We will send your gift voucher as soon as payment has been cleared. We're afraid we can't be responsible for any delays with the E-mail system.
If you are the purchaser, please double check the delivery E-mail address you enter - it is your responsibility to do so Goddiva can't be held responsible if a gift voucher is used by someone other than your recipient if the E-mail address entered is incorrect. In addition, make sure that your recipient has received their gift voucher, as it is their responsibility to keep their voucher details safe in their E-mail.
From time to time, gift vouchers may get caught in spam filters, and it is up to the recipient to check these filters. We cannot take responsibility if a gift voucher cannot be delivered to the recipient's e-mail address because of spam filters, the capacity of the recipient's mailbox or any other factors outside of our control.
If you find that your gift voucher is not accepted at checkout, check the number you have entered and try again. Goddiva products are sold on a Delivery Duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing an order for international delivery.
Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have 14 days (from the day you receive your delivery) to cancel the contract for your order with us.
In this case we will issue you with a refund, however you will need to return the entire order at your cost if it has already been dispatched. In this case the goods must be in their original condition and will be inspected on their return.
If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we may arrange to have the goods collected at your cost.
If you decide to cancel your order with Goddiva you must left us know in writing, quoting your order number and reason for cancellation.
