The second annual Academy Museum Gala took place on the 15^th of October and although it is only its second year, it may have just become one of the fashion's biggest nights. Hundreds of celebrities arrived on the stunning white carpet to celebrate the art and history of film, whilst showcasing their glamorous outfits. You can always count on celebrities to make an appearance but this year the Academy gala invited some of the most star-studded gatherings yet!

From Selena Gomez to Emma Stone, this year was no different as everyone celebrated the iconic museum while raising an amazing $10 million for the cause. Some of the biggest names in the industry arrived to celebrate the honorees like Julia Roberts, who was given the Icon Award by her close friend George Clooney and Tilda Swinton who received this year’s prestigious Visionary Award.

Sheer gowns and maxi dresses were one of the biggest trends on the white carpet as celebrities wore stunning outfits made by their favourite designers. While actors like Alexandra Daddario and Glenn Close chose a more incorporated look, it was Selena Gomez who stood out with her subtle choice to rock a classic black suit to the event.
