SATC2 Premiere: What did they wear??

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing 4 gloriously sunny days we've been blessed with - It's just what I needed to lift my little spirits and give me some decent colour ;) Thanks Mother Nature! p.s. please give us the sun again this bank holiday weekend, please... Haha! Anybody read The Secret? Thoughts become things!! Well last night saw the premiere of Sex and the City 2 in New York :) The girls looked amazing, all wearing long evening gowns. And we hear that the movie is fab!! Can't wait for it's general release here in the UK on Friday! Watch out for a special SATC 2 surprise from us in the next 2 weeks... This weekend also saw the 1st of the Summer Festivals kick off - Radio 1's Big Weekend (did anybody get a chance to go?) - and what great weather they had... definitely not wellie weather ;) The next 2 weeks brings us the Download Festival - I have a mate going who will have an eye on the festival trends for us... hopefully it's not all black nail polish and eyeliner! This week's trends are all about gorgeous strappy wedge sandals - especially in red and tan. I love wedges! I am one of those girls who simply cannot wear heels ( they really hurt and I simply refuse to cut a night short due to painful feet! Converse all the way!) so the wedge gives me the best of both worlds: height and slightly more comfort for a little while longer ;D Yellow is the big trend colour this week - see SJP's dress choice for the premiere was bang on trend - as always!! So yellow :) Think summery day dresses, long maxi's, eyewear, sandals, hair accessories, bags... whatever you like. Remember to always buy something that suits you and that you will get plenty of wear with... no point in buying something because it's fashionable and you don't feel fab wearing it!
