For those of you not in the know Coachella is one of the hottest US music (and fashion) events, not only that but it marks the unofficial start to the summer festival season - yay!

Set in the dreamy LA hills this years headliners included Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Diplo, The XX, Vampire Weekend, Grimes, Moby, and James Blake

At Coachella you will find a veritable feast of festival fashion faves with looks ranging from traditional 70's boho to minimalist denim. Crop tops and high waisted denim were a key look, as were fringing and tassels and of course the obligatory Lennon-style shades. For those of you who couldn’t make it this time round (note to self: must get ticket for next year) here is our pick of the hottest street style looks this weekend:

And what sort of festival would be complete without an A list celebrity guestlist? The usual suspects were of course out in full force including Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger, Kate Bosworth and (our current celeb crush) Solange Knowles.
