Friday morning was the 1st time I actually felt the cold! I had to wear a cardigan for the 1st time since Summer left us.
So I thought it only right that we take a look at the top coat styles for this Winter.
I'll start with my favourite The Faux Fur Coates:
The reason they're my fave is because they are so versatile wear them with a pair of jeans for a casual look and glam it up with some heels, makeup and jewellery. I absolutely love the animal print kind just so hot right now!
Check Coats are another great look! I am loving the houndstooth, very L.A.M.B a la Gwen Stefani. Remember with checks though, if you have a fuller figure, keep the checks smaller as it is more flattering.

Belted Coates are really classic and will give you that 1940's look and feel. Remember if you are short, the length should be above the knee taller gals look great with more length.

Lastly it's the Military Style Coat. Great to wear to work and on a night out. Keep buttons big and noticeable for that extra special style and remember to leave enough room in the chest area to button the whole coat up when the temperature drops.

I already have my houndstooth coat and am going to invest in a faux fur leopard print coat me thinks!! Love them!
My salary seems to have grown wings and left my account already!! Ho hum...
