Autumn Trends: Part 2
What a gorgeous day today! Blue skies and the sun is shining And it is Friday!!
Today is the 2nd and last part of my Autumn Trends Blog... I will be including a few extras like horoscopes, weather and a few other little surprises which will make their way on to the blog next week. Keep your eyes peeled x
Lets get the show on the road shall we?
This season makeup is dark, dramatic and smouldering only on the eyes though! Keep the rest matt and lips in a light gloss or shimmer. For great lashes try Givenchys PhenomenEyes Extension: The unique round tipped brush is designed to clump your lashes together into spikes... think Twiggy in the 60s. I love Urban Decay for smooth lines on the upper lash try their Urban Decay Ink For Eyes in Zero (not available in UK, yet!) its soft liner allows you to apply the line effortlessly in one smooth stroke. The desired effect is: Lips this Autumn are shimmery rose tints for day and warm shimmery tones for nights out. I love using lip products from the Body Shop. They use aloe vera which hydrates, calms and protects your lips and the liquid gel is preservative free ideal for sensitive skin! Try their Lip & Cheek Stain which as the name suggests, you can use on your cheeks too. Cheeks are also subtle this season. Think healthy glow or pinch your cheeks to see the desired colour which is ideal for you! So youll save money and packaging by buying the 2 in 1 product which is not tested on animals! Perfect
Nail colour this season is warm and musky. From reds to neutrals (including blues and purples) The key word is smoky! I love using Rimmel Lycra Pro. The colour dries fast , its very easy to remove and doesnt chip too easily. Have a look at these great colours which are available now... my faves are Blue Vogue and Oyster Pink.
I am so excited for Saturday... am treating myself to a new bag and I hear that dark, slouchy with a plaited trim or handles is the way to go. I like the rouched look too... Hmmm I have had a look around and my faves are from Evans... although I have seen similar ones at Primarni if you are on a budget
Thats me for the week! Enjoy your weekend and make the most while the sun shines...
wish me luck in my hunt for a new bag... !
Ps: My song for the weekend is Kiss of Life by Friendly Fires... check out their cool video!!
