Oscars 2021 Style Inspo - The Best Dressed at the Oscars
We all know that the Oscars are awards for artistic and technical merit in the film industry. They are regarded as the most famous and prestigious awards in the entertainment industry around the world, but the glam for this event is not like your average movie premiere red carpet, oh no! This is one of the occasions where you pull out the big guns. That forever famous carpet had celebrities wear some of the worlds most famous designers for the yearly event. With fashion artists like Alexander McQueen, Dundas, Louis Vuitton, Versace, and Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino, just to mention a few. On one of the worlds most famous red carpets, we also saw colours and styles you would not expect to see, with neon lemon yellows (some may say lime green), cerise pink and powder blues.
One of my favourite looks for the night came from the never aging Halle Berry. The 54-year-old showed up to show that she has still got it when it comes to strutting her stuff on the red carpet. Her jaw-dropping magenta gown was designed by Dolce & Gabana, accompanied by her new bob haircut. A bandeau, floor length style with a deep plunging v-neckline, along with a bow detail for extra dramatics made this style a perfect fit for the occasion. Its overflowing skirt gave Halle the ability to get creative for her 2021 red carpet debut.
Zendaya brought something new to the table for the award ceremony. She rocked the floor with a yellow neon number designed by none other than Valentino. This worldly actress came through with sexy glam, wearing a floor length gown which was accompanied by a bandeau bikini styled top and a cut-out feature on the body. Not many can work this look, but Zendaya was the girl for the job, I mean with that figure she can get away with anything.
Although finding these designs at an affordable price can be tiresome, Goddiva have got a wide collection of designs which are red carpet worthy. Evening dresses in classic award-winning colours and styles in more daring hues. Dresses which are elegant and simple and styles which are a little more on the wild side.
One actress who stole the heart of fashionistas around the world was Amanda Seyfried in her bold red coloured gown by Giorgio Armani. It seems that off the shoulder or sleeveless styles were on the dress code this year as this well-seasoned actress wore a stunning sleeveless gown. Now this dress is not your average red gown, this old Hollywood inspired gown was designed by Giorgio Armani himself, with an inspiration from a hibiscus flower. With a plunging neckline and a fan detail on the top of the bodice, this is a style which other designers will find hard to compete with.
This next actress never gets her red carpet look wrong. Margot Robbie came out on to that carpet looking like a million dollars. With her simply stunning Chanel maxi dress along with her new hair cut and colour, she came out looking unrecognizable. I think Margot went for the less is more look this year and we are here for it. This super sexy long bodycon maxi gown was a perfect fit for the occasion. With its never-failing silver colour, decorated with foil like floral design along with a spaghetti strap, this dress gives me a 90’s vibe. She completed the look with alternative shades of grey to bring the whole look together.
If you are planning to go a red-carpet event or are attending a Hollywood themed party, then Goddiva is the place for you when it comes to looking for your evening glam. Even though majority of Goddiva dresses are award-winning worthy, they have a collection called Danaya which screams red carpet. Dazzled in sequins and embellishment, you will find it hard to find styles quite like this.
